Sancerre

Sancerre Montée de Bouffant (white)

-Comes from old vines situated at an altitude of 240m on a steep plot on a Chavignol hillside called “Montée de Bouffant”.

-The southern exposure brings a good grape concentration.

Tasting notes

Light golden-yellow colour, fruity, exotic and floral bouquet, mixed with discreet empyreumatic notes (vanilla). Well-balanced and rich on the palate, due mainly to the grapes’ exposure to the sun; mineral finish, characteristic of Sancerre white wines.

Serving suggestion

Serve at 12°C with white meats in cream sauces (sweetbread…), shellfish and fish, snails or foie gras and, contrary to popular custom, great with a nice cheese platter.
